Lafikul buried at Salakati

Amidth huge thronging from all walks of life funeral of Lafikul Islam Ahmed, president of the All BTC Minority Student's Union(ABMSU) was performer at Salakati in Kokrajhar district on Wednesday.
Lafikul was shot dead by unidentified armed miscreants on Tuesday evening at Titaguri bazaar in Kokrajhar which has created sensation in the area.

Police so far apprehended two persons for involving with the incident.They are identified as Gautom Ghosh,owner of the JN Traders and Entaj Ali of Tokeyamari under Gossaigaon PS.
A five member special investigation team (SIT)  has been formed to investigate the killing if student leader Ahmed,headed by Prakash Medhi,DSP Kokrajhar.Other members are Saffikul Hussain,DSB Kokrajhar, Rajesh Singh,cyber expert,Rsmcharan Rabha and Manoj Boro,police constable.The SIT team will investigate whole pacts of the incident,said Mukesh Sahay,Assam DGP while attending the at the house of Lafikul today.

He said the police administration has been investigating the incident and hope that the culprits will be booted soon.He said miscreants used small arms in the fired that killed the ABMSU leader.
Assam minister Parimal Suklabadhya rushed the Salakati to take stock on the saturation under the directions from chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal.He reached the house of Lafikul and said state government has been doing strong initiative while checking the involved culprits.

Hagrama Mohilary,BTC chief visited at the Salakati. He said that culprits must be punished as per law.

Lafikul's body was brought to Bhotgaon ABMSU office where people from all walks of life paid last respect and his funeral was performed at Salakati through Islam religious ritual this evening.
The ABMSU demanded CBI inquiry into killing of Lafikul Ahmed.
