Candle lighting for Amarnath incident
A candle lighting rally was organized at Kokrajhar in protest against recent attack and killing of Amarnath pilgrims in Jammu & Kashmir by Pakistani militants that claimed that seven peoples and left many injuries.
The candle rally was organized by the All BTC Minority Students Union(ABMSU) to put protest against inhuman act penetrated by Pakistani militants on Wednesday evening. Hundreds of ABMSU activists and publics joined hands in the rally and lighted candles along the fly-over in Kokrajhar town.
Lafikul Islam Ahmed,presidents of the students union condemned the incident and demanded stern action against militants in the country.He has urged government of India to initiate strong check against militancy activities in the country and held healthy country.

A five-day mountaineering training program, organized by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare department of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) government, begins on Thursday at the Dangdupur Hills Site in Kokrajhar.
