Spring fest held in Pune

Pune witnessed cultural essence from North, South and Eastat Symbiosis Vishwabhavan Auditorium on Saturday. The event “Spring Festival” was organized by Symbiosis Ishanya Cultural & Educational Centre. People witnessed mesmerizing performances by three different states- Assam, Kerala and Punjab.  Participants from all the different states performed various cultural delights.

Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, President of Symbiosis welcomed the guests with a spellbinding speech, and spoke about the purpose of event. Guest of honour on the occasion were actress Urmila Mahanta, singer Nilotpal Bora, and Hari Narayanan, Ex-Chairman, World Malayalee Council, Pune Province and President, Pune Malayalee Federation. Guests addressed the audience, and were impressed by the vibrant event, a first of it’s kind, where states from North-East-South are performing in a single stage. Singer Nilotpal Bora, mesmerised the crowd with his beautiful hits- “Majuli”.  More than 500 hundred audience were present at the event.
