Trouble for 22 ACS, APS officers

A senior police team from Dibrugarh probing the multi crore APSC selection scam is preparing to interrogate over two dozen ACS,APS and allied service officers, a move that will brew more trouble in the state administrative machinery.

According to information, acting on some stunning revelation during the ongoing probe, the team has dispatched summons to four deputy superintendents of police, 15 circle officers including the son of a former minister.

They would be questioned at the Assam Administrative Staff College acting on the revelations of those arrested in this connection.

Apart from these confessional statements, the police have gatherer huge evidence of an infamous process of selection on receipt of the forensic reports of nearly 1000 answer scripts of 2013-14 combined competitive mains examination conducted by the Assam Public Service Commission when Rakesh Paul was it's chairman who is languishing in jail since November last year along with ten others.
