Thai delegation departs Manipur
An impressed Thai delegation leaves Manipur heaping huge praise on the north eastern people with whom they had an useful exchange of ideas.
Led by Thailand Ambassador to Myanmar Jukr Boon-long, the 22-member team stressed the urgent need to extract the advantage of the look east policy.
The Manipur government side was represented in the programme by PWD Minister Thongam Biswajit Singh, Consumer Affairs Minister Karam Shyam, PHED Minister Losii Dikho and Chief Secretary Oinam Nabakishore Singh.
“The visit mainly aims at inspecting the Thailand-Myanmar-India trilateral highway and also avenues in expansion of Indian economy beyond its border,” Amabssador Jukr said.
