More arrest likely in APSC scam

Hours after the Dibrugarh police arrested three ACS officers in the cash for job scam, DGP Mukesh Sahay gave hint of action against a few other officers who allegedly procured job for money.

Talking to reporters on Wednesday, Sahay said the probe into the scam was moving in right direction.

Early in the morning police arrested Amitjyoti Mahanta, Bhaskarjyoti DevSarma and Bhaskar Das to be brought to Kahilipara where a team of police officer is interrogating the trio.

The administration allowed them to arrest after the forensic report of their answerscripts confirmed the allegations.
