Baby born in tea bushes

A tea worker of Borengajuli tea estate under Dimakuchi PS in Udalguri district gave birth to an infant in tea bushes while plucking tea leaves. The worker has been admitted in the civil hospital Tangla while her infant baby was found dead. The workers have created a havoc in this regard. The female tea workers usually loaded with heavy burden and pressure & ignorance  from the management have been left for survival.

Ailing healthcare in Uldalguri

Healthcare facilities are not adequately available in most of the tea estate (TE) hospitals of Udalguri district. Almost a similar scenario is prevailing in most of the TE hospitals of the state.
