Apollo gynecologist to conduct GPC clinic

Senior gynecologist from Apollo Chennai Hospital Dr A Vinutha will be available for free consultations to the honourable lady members of Guwahati Press Club on 6 May 2017 under its ‘Evening with a Doctor’ program . The OPD clinic, which is also open for the spouses (and daughters) of the press club members, will begin at 4 pm and continue till 6 pm.

Prior to it, the experienced gynecologist, who is also a member of Indian Medical Association, will deliver a talk on various women related ailments and their prevention at the press club auditorium. Organized by Apollo Hospitals Information Center Guwahati, the talk will start at 3 pm sharp.

The coming Saturday (22 April) clinic at the press club premises will be conducted by four senior Homeopathic physicians namely Dr SK Das, Dr Susanta Malakar, Dr Gayatri Dutta and Dr Ramanand Gupta. Organized for the benefit of the member-journalists along with their dependants the camp (4 pm to 6 pm) will also provide the opportunity to check the participants’ blood pressures. The 29 April OPD will be conducted by Dr Debajit Basumatary from Dispur Hospitals.

Earlier two experienced doctors from Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Panbazar Hospital namely Dr Madhab Rajbongshi and Dr Hitendra Nath Chakravarty conducted the last clinic at the press club premises, which was predeceased by Ayursundra Superspecialty Hospitals’ Dr Prerit Sarma and Dr Ayona Barthakur.

It may be mentioned that the pioneer press club of northeast India had launched the unique healthcare initiative in August 2016 with initial supports from Dispur Hospitals’ managing director Dr Jayanta Bardoloi. The acclaimed hospital also conducted the first evening clinic at the club premises.

A number of practicing doctors from Medanta-the Medicity Hospital, Apollo Chennai Hospital, GNRC Group of Hospitals, Down Town Hospitals, Narayana Super-Specialty Hospitals, Swagat Super-Surgical Institute, Sankaradeva Nethralaya Guwahati, Wintrobe Hospital, Barthakur Clinic, Nemcare Hospital, Rahman Hospitals, Sun Valley Hospital, Sight First eye-clinic, Government Ayurvedic College, Institute of Dental Science & Research Center etc had attended the press club camps till date.
