Rahman Hospitals to conduct press club evening clinic

Rahman Hospitals will conduct the next evening OPD clinic at Guwahati Press Club on Saturday (25 February). Dr Hemen Ch Goswami & Dr P Rojer Singh (Medicine) from the acclaimed hospital will be available for free consultations to the member-journalists of the press club.

Both the doctors will be assisted by nurses Momi Begum & Asha Devi along with Manab Deka and Chandan Barman. The camp will begin at press club premises by 3.3o pm and continue till 6 pm, where the participants will also get the facility to check their weight, sugar (by glucometer) and blood pressure, informed Dr MLA Rahman, the chief of the Six-mile, Guwahati based hospital.

The last evening clinic on 11 February was conducted by Dispur Hospitals, where Dr Raj Kumar Dutta provided free consultations to over 25 media persons along with their families. They also got their weight, blood pressure & sugar checked by Champak Goswami and Jonprova Devi.

It may be mentioned that GPC initiated ‘Evening with a Doctor' program was launched last year and till date practicing doctors from Medanta-The Medicity Hospital, Apollo Hospitals Chennai, Narayana Super-Specialty Hospitals, GNRC Group of Hospitals, Down Town Hospitals, Swagat Super-Surgical Institute, Wintrobe Hospital, Barthakur Clinic, Nemcare Hospital, Sun Valley Hospital, Sight First eye-clinic, Sankaradeva Nethralaya, Government Ayurvedic College etc attended the weekly health camps.
