Hauz Khaz rape: 1 caught

Delhi police claimed to have arrested a person in connection with the recent sexual assault on a woman from Nagaland in Hauz Khas village.

According to police, interrogation is going on to extract the information of the crime where a person took a 24 year old woman away to a park to be repeatedly raped at 11.30 night on Saturday.

Police registered the case against unknown person and during the course of investigation one person was arrested on Tuesday in this connection.

Meanwhile, a group of people from the north east staged a silent protest in the afternoon at the entrance gate of Hauz Khas village demanding justice and rehabilitation measure for the victim.
