Doubts on judicial sincerity

Kalikho Pul’s suicide note takes the centre stage of debate in judiciary while the wife of the late Arunachal Pradesh Chief minister has written to CJI demanding probe.

Addressing a press conference in Delhi on Friday, Pul’s widow Dangwimsai said she has written a letter to the country's judicial head to probe the allegations against the judges whose judgment dislodged Kalikho Pul government.

She said she would meet prime minister and home minister to demand a CBI probe into the explosive revelations.

“The Pema Khandu government has been trying to cover up the revelations. Despite so much allegations and even after strong recommendation for CBI probe by the then governor JP Rajkhowa, a simple enquiry was ordered which concluded it a suicide for depression,” said Dangwhimsai.
