Growing initiatives by management institute

Girijananda Chowdhury Group of Institute (GIMT & GIPS) Guwahati, a unit of Shrimanta Shankar Academy (SSA) the first non-governmental Engineering and Pharmaceutical College of Assam Besides Academics the institute has moved a step towards adopting an underdeveloped village called Garbhanga in the district of Kamrup metro and converting it into a model village.

Moreover, the institute has always dedicated their Annaul Cultural cum Technical Fest “Euphuism” for the cause of the society by adopting some social issues as the motto of the event and thereby organising various activities based on the theme. This time Girijananda Chowdhury Group of Institute (GIMT & GIPS) is proud to announce its 9th Annual cultural cum technical cum sports Festtival. EUPHUISM' 1.

To be held from  February 13, 2017 it aims to create awareness among youths against corruption, addiction, cleanliness and at the same time to make them understand about the power of youths behind nation building.

The  initiatives are to raise the curtain of the fest for the first time by a Marathon on  February 13, 2017 which shall flagged off by eminent sports personalities of Assam Tayabun Nisha and Everest Expedition Team of Manash Baruah. Many athletics and students from different parts of Assam will join the movement. The prizes will be distributed in two categories of Men and Women. 1st Prize: Rs. 10,000/-, 2nd Prize: Rs. 7000/- and 3rd Prize: Rs. 5000/-. The program will start sharply at 5 am from the office premises of GIMT and GIPS at Azara, Guwahati.
