Sahitya Sabha Prez quits

Caught in a paralyzing controversy Dr Dhrubajoti Borah is understood to have resigned as the Asom Sahitya Sabha president.

The resignation was on expected line in view of the stinging controversy over the functionings of a circle of officials who are allegedly defaming the country’s greatest literary organization.

Dr Bora tendered his resignation hardly a week after his secretary general Dr Parama Rajbanshi put in his papers.
