Wild elephants kill 2

Two persons trampled to death by wild elephants at Pub Gowamari early this morning in Baksa district on Sunday. 

According to villagers, a herd of wild elephant come out from the nearby jungle along Indo-Bhutan border area at Pub Gowamari in Baksa where two persons were trampled, besides some houses as well properties vandalized. The deceased were identified as Uma Barman and Siddiki Barman of Pub Mowamari. 

The wild elephants visits to the human habited area in search of foods, said a villager.
