Tangla College Foundation day on Nov 17

The foundation day of Tangla College established way back in 1970 by some far sighted people in co-operation of the local people will celebrate its 46th foundation day with a day long programme on November 17 next. This was informed by Rabindra Kr. Sarmah Executive President of the celebration committee. As per programme schedule after hoisting of flag by Dr. Prasen Daimari, homage to martyrs will be paid by Manoroma Das Medhi former HOD Dept of Assamese of the college. An open session will also be held which will be graced as chief guest by Rihon Daimari Minister PHE, Food and Civil Supply. Jagadish Sarkar EM BTC ,Bonjar Daimari EM BTC, Nerswn Boro Speaker BTC ,Kamali Basumatari MLA Panery LAC besides hosrs of other dignitaries will grace the event. An Alumni meet is also scheduled on the same ocassion. The college authorities has invited all its former students, teachers and persons associated with the institution since its inception .
