Career counseling at Serfanguri
The Ramfalbil Anchalik committee, All Bodo students Union (ABSU) organized career counselling and motivational programme in the name and style of my education my future at Janata College, Serfanguri in Kokrajhar district on Saturday.
Studentsts from different college and HS school participated in the programme. The key objectives of the programme was to make the students to know regarding various career options for them and to motivate them to work hard for any cost for building the bright career in life.
Dr. Subung Basumatary, principal, Janata College delivered welcome address and also motivational speech targeting the students for bright career building in life.
General secretary of Kokrajhadistrictct committee, ABSU Nion Mushahary explained regarding the mission education of ABSU and its objectives and various activities under the mission which the ABSU have been carrying since 2007 and suggest the students to use the education to change future life, society , nation and the world, because the bright future career completely depend on quality education.
Additional Superintendent of Police Kokrajhar Sreejith T. IPS officer as a resource parson and delivered his valuable speech on various national and state level competitive exams like UPSC, SSC, ACS and Bank PO exams etc and motivated the students to work hard to achieve the goals. He also expressed his willingness to sponsored coaching for a brilliant student eighter for UPSC or Bank PO Exam.
Vice president of ABSU Romio P. Narzary attended as a resource person delivered his very informative and powerful motivational speech to the young college students regarding the value of education in building bright career in life.
That, the programme was also attended by many faculty members of the college, students from HS 1st year to TDC 3rd years and education secretary of Kokrajhar District committee, ABSU Swmdwn Brahma, president of Ramfalbil Anchalik committee, ABSU, Ratinath Narzary and the general Secretary and leaders of Ramfalbil Anchalik Committee ABSU including many social workers.

Apurna Narzary, an international women's football player, has been nominated for the Emerging Player award for 2022-23 by the Sports & Youth Welfare department of the government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Narzary has represented India in several international events and is the daughter of Biswajit Narzary of Khagrabari village in Kokrajhar district. The award will be presented to her during the Baokhungri festival celebration at Baokhungri Hill site near Harinaguri in Kokrajhar.
