4th Assam International AGRI HORTICULTURAL Show 2017 will be held on January 6-9, 2017 at College of Veterinary Science Playground, Khanapara, Guwahati, Assam, India. It is the International exposition organized in Assam for innovation and inspiration in horticulture, floriculture, agriculture, food and allied sectors.
The platform will feature speakers on various aspects related to policy, consumer preferences, and innovations in the agricultural sector in general and addressing topical critical issues of agriculture, horticulture and floriculture sectors in particular.
The target participation includes farmers, national and international buyers, government, industry, academia and various policy agencies.
Organizers of the 4th Assam International AGRI HORTICULTURAL Show 2017 are the Department of Agriculture, Assam and Assam Agricultural University, with support from the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
In this context, an International Souvenir will be published under the editorship of Mowsam Hazarika. Interested persons may send their write-ups in both English and Assamese language along with relevant photographs or illustrations on the important issues of horticulture, floriculture, agriculture, food and allied sectors. The write-ups based on uniqueness of Agri-Horti Sectors of Assam/ North East India will be given top priority in the Souvenir.

The Assam Directorate of Horticulture & Food Processing, Assam has decided to celebrate the World Honey Bee Day , in collaboration with Salt Range Private Limited, Guwahati on Saturday at Momai Tamuli Barbarua Training Hall, Khanapara, Guwahati. The event is being organized under Horticulture Mission for North East and Himalayan States(HMNEH). Atul Bora, Minister of Agriculture, Assam will inaugurate the programme in the morning.
