Tangla HS gets new principal

The members of Tangla Press Club has welcomed Dilip Kr Baruah new principal of Tangla Higher Secondary school at a special felicitation programme held at Tangla Press Club premises on Wednesday. The programme was presided over by Bapan Sarma President of Tangla Press Club.

Dr. Dilip Kr. Baruah who joined Tangla HS school as a assistant teacher in January 1996 holds dual degree in Political Science and Assamese along with diploma in Bodo language,besides holding B.Ed, M.Phil and Phd degrees took the charge as principal on October 7 last.

Baruah is also model farmer and popular as a orator and motivator. Baruah born in Khareng village of Udalguri district was formerly associated as a correspondent with vernacular Assamese daily Aji.The people and organisations of greater Tangla area have accorded warm welcome to the new principal of the institute .
