Narrow escape for Manipur CM

Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh had a narrow escaped when miscreants opened fire at him during his foiled visit to Ukhrul district on Monday.

The incident took place at the Ukhrul helipad inthe morning. Unidentified misceants who were believed to have been hiding on the spot started targetting Singh as he came out of the helicopter.
Singh boarded again and left for Chingal where he failed to land in the face of protest.
