Durga puja fever still grips Assam as the annual Hindu festival enters fourth day on Monday.
Puja pendals in the nook and corner of the premier north eastern state are teeming with devotees of all ages who are offering pujas to the goddess of strength for peace and prosperity.
Amid the sounds of hymns, drums and cymbals, the devotees started waiting in long queue in front of the goddess to seek her blessings from early in the morning.
Cultural functions, music and drawing competitions are also lined up till Monday.
The puja is concluding on Tuesday and the idols would be immersed on the rivers and water bodies.
