Udangshri Club celebrating Silver Jubilee

A massive preparation has got underway to hold 25th Foundation Day and Silver Jubilee celebration of Kanthalguri Udangshri Club cum Library with two-day programme scheduled on September 27 and 28 at Kanthalguri playground in Kokrajhar district.

Assam Forest Minister Pramila Rani Brahma will grace as chief guest on the open session on September while BTC executive member Rajib Brahma will be attending as inaugurator on the day.Rabiram Narzary,Kokrajhar west MLA,Janjabati Basumatary,CHD Sports & Youth welfare,BTC,Krishna Gopal Basumatary,director UN Academy will grace as guests on the open session.

A career counseling session has also been organized to bring awareness about career building among coming up generation and citizens on September 27 to mark the Silver Jubilee celebration. Rajan Kumar Baruah,Chief Executive Officer,NEYF, Guwahati,Raju Kumar Narzary, Executive Director, NERSWN,Kokrajhar will be participating as resource persons.

Various competitions like literary, sports, cultural are also organized among school children in the celebration.

Kanthalguri Udangshri Club cum Library was founded on September 28 in 1991 and since then working for uplift of education,sports in the area.
