Ganga Road inaugurated

BTC executive member Doneswar Goyary inaugurated newly constructed Ganga Road along Ward No.11(Ganga Nwgwr) near Bodofa Nwgwr on Wednesday in Kokrajhar.

The Road was constructed under BTC Urban Development department through Kokrajhar Development Authority with amounting of 60.96 lakhs under 2015-16 BTC financial year to make good road communication.

Goyary hailed completion of road construction which linked to Sudempuri and its adjoining areas in the town. He said BTC administration was working for all round development in the region.

Daorao Dekhreb Narzary, chairman Kokrajhar development authority, B Swargiary, CHD,Urban development department were prominent attendees on the occasion.

Hagrama Mohilary reacts on NDFB-S

KLO cadre held

Security forces from police and army apprehended a Kamatapur Liberation Organization (KLO) from Maktaigaon area on Friday under Gossaigaon PS in Kokrajhar district,  Identified as Ranjay Barman of Maktaigaon. He was involved with extortion, new cadre recruitment and arms peddling in the area.  A pistol along with live bullet was recovered from him.
