Maheswar Narzary passes away

Noted writer and Sahitya Akademy awardee Maheswar Narzary passes away on Saturday evening by 4.30 pm due to ailment at his Simbargaon Jainary residence in Kokrajhar district.

Narzary has been suffering of his ailment since few months back and breathed his last this evening.

He was 78.Narzary received Sahitya Akademy award in 2011 for his ‘Puranni Solo Phitika’ book.He was retired teacher and associated with Bodo sahitya sabha and cultural activities in his life. He had born at Simbargaon Jainary village on March 10, 1938.

He was professionally teacher and took retired on 2001.He was also Maharishi in Rupamoni Bathow Dhwrwm. He wrote several 13 books, included Aroj Methai,Boro Tripuri Rao Swdwb,Bharatni gwthar Afakhi,Poraigibi Raokanti bijab,Jiuni Daha are prominent books. .Narzary’s dead brought a great loss for Bodo community.
