AJYCP takes serious note of the incidents of alleged attack on the villagers in Mayong area in Morigaon district by a circle of doubtful citizens.
In a statement issued in Guwahati on Tuesday, AJYCP president Biraj Kumar Talukdar said,”there is nothing to be surprised at these incidents where the indigenous lots are assaulted, and their properties were damaged by the doubtful citizens who are allowed to stay here.”
AJYCP has demanded a thorough probe into the incident to find out the culprits for an exemplary punishment. “Those living doubtfully in the entire area should be detected and deported. It must be ensured that these incidents do not take place in near future,” said Talukdar.
He slammed the police and civil authorities alleging their failure to act promptly. “Strange are the ways of the district administration who is least bothered even after the scheme of things have reached such a stage,” said Talukdar.
