Guwahati under threat!

The rising water level of the Brahmaputra threatens to wash away the landmark areas in Guwahati very soon. The mighty river has been dangerously flowing following the incessant rains in the catchment areas in Arunachal Pradesh. If the water level refuses to recede, Kamrup DC office, CJM Court, GMC office might come under the surging waters along with some parts of Fancybazar area by Thursday. The alarming rise in the water level has forced the authorities to suspend the ferry services on the mighty river.
