More rains might compound the flood fury in the next couple of weeks in Assam. The famed Kaziranga National Park, Pobitora wildlife Sanctuary have been reeling under waters fetching brimful misery for the one horn rhinos and other birth and animal.
Rhinos, tigers, deer, buffalos, elephants have been shifting to the nearby hills in the Kaziranga National Park forcing the authorities to set up the activities to deal with the poachers.
Same scene prevails in Pobitora where the wild animals have been trying to get out of the blues. The worst affected districts include Lakhimpur, Golaghat, Morigaon, Dhubri, Jorhat, Sivsagar, Dhemaji, Kokrajhar, Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Nagain, Dibrugarh and Chirang. Two persons one each in lakhimpur and Morigaon lost their lives.
Then river Brahmaputra along with its tributaries Dhansari, Jia Bharali, Puthimari, Beki and Sankosh have been flowing above the danger level suggesting more deteriorating scene.
