Assembly changes sitting time

The ongoing Assam Assembly session is all set to start from 9-30 from Wednesday instead of 9 in the morning.


The proposal was unanimously passed on the floor after parliamentary affairs minister Chandra Mohan Patowary moved the proposal.

Speaker Ranjeet Kumar Das announced the slight change in the timings which will come into force from Wednesday.

The concluding time is 2 in the afternoon. But on Friday, the morning session will end at 11.30 in the morning while the evening session will be from 3 to 5 in the afternoon.
