Three arrested for Safiour killing

Chirang police have arrested three persons in connection with the murder of one Safiour Rehman of Daukhanagar who was killed on July 13 last. The three have been identified as - Md Saibor Ali, 20 of Daukhanagar, Jahar Ali, 22, of Choto Amguri and Md Sahjamal Ali, 23, also of Choto Amguri –all under Dhaligaon police station in Chirang district.

Rehman was murdered and body dumped on the bank of a river at Roumari area on 13 July last. His body was recovered on July 15 last. TTrio have confessed of killing Rehman over some dealings and later dumping the body on the bank of the river at Roumari area. They even tried to give communal colour to the murder.
