One killed, another attacked

A NDFB cadre was killed at Choibari area following firing while were coming from Guwahati after producing in NIA case. On the other hand, Dahit Chandra Brahma was attacked by unidentified gunmen at Chandamari this evening in Kokrajhar.

According to police, four NDFB cadre were coming from Guwahati after attending NIA case, the militant outfit cadres sprayed analgesic sprayed to escape from the prisoner van which police force to fired at them which claimed a NDFB cadre on the spot. He was identified as Swmla Baumatary. One of them escaped and two others with police. Operation is on to find out escaped cadre.

Meanwhile, AIUDF leader Dahit Chandra Brahma was attacked by unidentified gunmen at Chandamari this evening at 5.10pm when he was on way to Dotma with his own vehicle. He was safe on the attacked, but vehicle was saw bullet injury. Miscreants attacked him by AK 47 with ambush, said Dahit.
