Security review meeting at NTPC

A security review cum awareness meeting was held at NTPC BgTPP Salakati on Monday chaired by ADGP (Railways) Dr L R Bishnoi, and participated by DC Kokrajhar MP Sarma, Shyamal Prasad Saikia, SP Kokrajhar, senior officials from police, CISF and senior NTPC executives to reviewing increase awareness about the key aspects of security amongst NTPC employees.

Bishnoi highlighted the security environment in BTAD, precautions to be taken, importance of use of technology, mock drill etc. He has stressed the importance of partnership between the members of the public and police.

Sarma stressed the need to always remain alert and prepared. He stated the need for disaster management preparedness in face of any untoward incident.

On security aspect of NTPC township and plant in the current environment, single gate operation of NTPC township & eviction of unauthorized occupants was also discussed and stressed upon by the authority.

GGM (NTPC) Bongaigaon Utpal Chakrabarti thanking for organizing security review meeting for constant guidance, support and co-operation with NTPC in all matters related to security.
