A NDFB-S cadre identifed as Derhasat Basumaraty was apprehanded by security forces from Panbari area under Bijni PS in Chirang district on Sunday. He was involved with several activities like extortion, kidnapped in the area . A pistol, a magzine and live bullet were recovered from his possession.
