The recent reign of terror in Dhaka has forced the north eastern states to remain on alert along the Indo-Bangladesh border. A round the clock vigil is in place along the border to check the intrusion of miscreants in the face of a crackdown on the soil of Bangladesh. A stepped up vigil has been intensified along the Indo-Bangladesh border in Assam, Tripura and Meghalaya. Armed miscreants, who unless no less terror might infiltrate from across the border to get rid of the crackdown following the recent happening in Dhaka where 20 civilians were killed by 7 militants 6 of whom were shot dead by the armed forces at the end of a high voltage drama of 12 hours inside a restaurant.
