AASAA condemns Bhutiachang killing

"The killings of two tea labourers in Bhutiachang TE, Udalguri by miscreants on Wednesday night is a sheer act of disrupting peace in the region and anti-social elements are trying to gain mileage with the incident.   We strongly condemn the killings of the people." This was stated in a press release by Udalguri district committee of All Adivasi Students' Association of Assam. As alleged, none of the accused were with AASAA, they added. "We demand proper investigation of the incident and justice to the bereaved family members of the victims", the organization further exhorted the people to let the law take its turn and remain united.
