Minor girl raped

Chirang Police in association with Basugaon police on Sunday arrested a retired army jawan, identified as Mahen Chandra Boro(62) of Tilakgaon in Chirang district for accused rape of a minor maid servant at his home recently. On the other hand, Mahen denied the allegation leveled against him and termed that it was deep conspiracy on him.

Police arrested accused person Mahen following victim girls’ family lodged FIR against incident yesterday at Basugaon police station. The victim hailed from remote village from Shantipur area of the district. As per FIR lodged note that retired army jawan raped the minor maid servant at his own home few days back and it is come to known after victim girl revealed the matter to her family recently.

Boro was arrested on Sunday evening and due to his deteriorated of health condition, was admitted to Kokrajhar RNB Civil hospital mid night yesterday and till filling of this report, he was going under treatment under police custody.

Accused person Mahen denied the allegation said that he was innocent and it was an act of conspiracy against him. He did not know how, he is facing punishment on a conspiracy under guidance some so-called persons. He told that he could not do such inhuman act on his 62 years of age, besides was a sugar patient, paralyzed on his foot since few days. It was totally conspiracy against him and no any such incident was happened in his family, Boro said.

Mahen said, ‘I am innocent, all allegation leveled against him was baseless and immature. It was a conspiracy against him to bring bad reputation on him. I could not do such inhuman act on a minor girl’. Police Officer in Basugaon PS said that we arrested a retired army jawan yesterday after receiving an FIR for allegation rape of a minor maid servant girl by her owner at Tilakgaon village. ‘We are investigating into incident and taking stock about incident’, he added.
