Residents close down PHED Office
The angry residents of Nagaland's Peren town have forcibely closed down two vital PHED offices alleging defunct water supply system in the town.
Earlier, the residents in its first phase protest against the Department had undertaken a ‘Silent Public procession’ from Peren Main Bazaar to the office of the ADC, Peren. However, the Department had ignored the issue except some temporary repair works and a Press Release in the local dailies.
Agry residents threatening to step up its protest for permanent restoration of water supply in the coming days.
