Five tops in HSLC from Bajali

Five students from Bajali brought glory in the HSLC 2016. Jyandeep Baishya: 12th position, Himjyoti Thakuria: 13th position. Himjyoti is the  son of Dipika kalita Thakuria and Ogendra Kalita of Uttar Bajali. Partha Pratim Patgiri scored 570 out of 600. Partha is the son of Ranjit Patgiri and Jamuna Patgiri of Pathsala.

Nitish Kakati scored 567. Nitish is the son of Debeswari Kakati and Jonali Das Kakati of Santipur. Himjoyti Thakuria, Jyandeep Baishya, Nitish Kakati and Partha Pratim Patgiri were from Sankardev Sishu Vidya Nikatan Pathsala. Apekha Das daughter of Dinanath Das and Nirmala das, bagged the 14th position (572) from Sankardev Shishu Vidya Nikatan Patacharkuchi of Dharamtala (Marka).

The organising committee of Pathsala Rangali Bihu cancelled the programme due to bad weather conditions, which was scheduled on April 18-19. The event is now rescheduled for April 23-24.  The cultural evening will be performed by the many artists including guest singar Angaraag Papon Mahanta.

The people of Patacharkuchi in Barpeta district are witnessing pathetic conditions of progress in their constituency.The goverment despite its efforts have failed to take development to the people. Road infrastructures are yet underveloped and accidents common in the absence of street lights in accident prone zones. The roads connecting Tihu-Khardhara-Bihali, Patacharkhuchi-Odalguri, Balapara-Makhibaha -PHE via Kukurmara Road from Dubi Malipara to Tapottari are in a very deplorable state.  Patacharkuchi aches for development.
