Live Arthroscopy Knee & Shoulder Operation
The city based Dispur Hospitals Pvt Ltd in association with Guwahati Orthopaedic Society have organized a live operative workshop cum CME on arthroscopic procedure of knee and shoulder treatment on 19 March (Saturday).
It may be mentioned that the arthroscopy is a keyhole procedure used for major joint operations mostly on knee and shoulder. It is an endoscopic procedure with minimal invasive techniques, which restores early recovery and mobility. Various surgical procedures can be carried out mostly in ligament injury, meniscus injuries of knee and various shoulder problems with arthroscopy.
Mumbai based eminent surgeon Dr Nagraj Shetty has consented to perform various arthroscopic procedures of knee and shoulder tomorrow at Orthopaedic department of Dispur Hospitals. Orthopaedic surgeons from different parts of northeast India are expected to participate in the program which will kick off at 9 am. Dr Shetty will also deliver a lecture in the same evening (7 pm) at Vivanta by Taj.
