ULFA warns BJP on ticket to Bhaskar Sarma

In yet another major setback for BJP in the pre poll political scene, ULFA-I has slammed the saffron party for shortlisting Bhaskar Sarma as the candidate for the upcoming Assam assembly polls in Margherita. In a statement to Assam Times, publicity leader of the outfit Aronodoi Asom said that the memories of the gory shocking and sensational secret killings are still fresh in the minds of Assam and its people.

Sarma, the owner of the Usha Court in Guwahati city was one of the culprits in the nefarious chapter of the Assam history.

ULFA-I said that it would never tolerate if any party allows Sarma to contest the polls. Notably, BJP has already finalised Sarma's name for Margherita constituency. But will BJP leadership listen to ULFA-I?
