Prime Minister Narendra Modi will likely be visiting Assam in February with a slew of programmes lined up two months before the assembly polls.
Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Tezpur MP RP Sarma said that he invited Modi to attend the Sankardev Sangha annual session at Sivasagar on February 8.
Apart from it, Sarma urged the Prime Minister to launch the BPCL in Dibrugarh which would be ready by then. He said that Modi is expected to lay the corner stone of the AIIMS in North Guwahati.
