Rahul drops bombshell: Confirms Gogoi allegation
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi dropped a huge bombshell against RSS on Monday revealing that the religious group attached to BJP prevented him from visiting a historic Vaishnavite place in Assam.
Talking to reporters on way to the Parliament Bhawan, Gandhi said RSS deployed some women to stopped from visiting the Barpeta Satra after I wrapped up my padyatra.
"This is how BJP and RSS operate. It shows the real mentality of Prime Minister Narendra Modi," said the top Congress leader who was on a recent visit to the poll bound Assam.
Rahul broke the ice a day after Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi brought the same allegation against BJP and RSS triggering tacit anger among the people of the entire area.
A section of the Vaishnavs have condemned Gogoi for alleging the presence of RSS activists inside the monastery.
