Ex-servicemen rally at Likabali

An Ex service men (ESM ) rally will be conducted at Likabali Military Station on December 11. The rally is being organized under aegis of Fifty Six Infantry Division.

Ex-servicemen, Veer Naris, Widows and Next of Kin of Dhemaji, NLP, Pasighat, Along and Daporijo District are expected to attend the rally. Opening ceremony of the ESM Rally will be graced by GOC 56 Division. Prominent civilian dignitaries are also invited to attend the event.

A large number of stalls are planned to set up to facilitate Ex-servicemen to sort out problem related to their pension, medical & health, rehabilitation, re-employment, banks assistance etc. Felicitation of Ex servicemen & War widows and distribution of gifts/cash awards are also planned as part of rally. 

Doctors of Military Hospitals will conduct free medical checkup of Ex-service men Veer Naris and widows. Cultural show and Barakhana is also being organized as part of the event. The rally aims to provide opportunity for formal and informal interaction & address grievances of ESM, Veer Naris & Widows.
