NorthEast United FC are preparing to take on Chennaiyin FC in the continuing clash for the Hero Indian Super League in their homeland on Tuesday. It would be the do or die battle for the home team which have yet to see the light of victory so far.
But now the highlander players are tightening their belts to limit the damage. The ambitious Chennaiyin FC are not in a mood to go slow in Guwahati. Buoyed by the earlier two victories in a row, Marco Materazzi’s team is warming up to the challenge and looks to be the side teams fear the most.
Marquee player Simao Sabrosa has joined the NorthEast camp on Monday. But it needs to be seen if the coach will having him in the starting eleven.
