15 hurt in bus accident

At least 15 people sustained injury when the passenger bus carrying them from Dhubri met with a mishap in Guwahati on Friday.

The mishap took place at Jalukbari in the wee hours where the Guwahati-bound slipped into a gorge after the driver was believed to have lost control over it. Police and local residents rushed the injured passengers to the Guwahati Medical College Hospital. The driver managed to escape from the spot.
