The airmen recruitment rally conducted by the Indian Air Force at Dera Natung College saw as many as108 candidates apprearing in Group Y(non- technical) and 28 candidates appearing in group X(technical). Two persons sustained serious injury when a Tata Sumo carrying them slipped into a river in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday.The incident took place at Paktu Tinali when the vehicle was on its way to Itanagar. As the vehicle was crossing the Sipu bridge it slipped into the river with all the passengers. All the passengers were shifted to the hospital while two of them are battling for life. 
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Ramesh Negi reviewed the state’s over all development scenario when he interacted with the Deputy Commissioners through video conferencing on Thursday.Negi outlined the time bound settlement of land acquisition and progress of Trans-Arunachal highways for early completion of the ongoing project.
