Changlang North MLA Tesam Pongte unveiled Chief Minister’s Grants Loin Loom Schemes at Changlang on Thursday under which Acrylic Yarns are distributed to the bonafied weavers free of cost for self employment in design weaving production of traditional garments.

Two deputy chief ministers - Kameng Dolo and Chowna Mein are inducted in the Arunachal Pradesh government on Saturday. Violence in Itanagar

Tension prevails in Itanagar on Saturday after mob attack on the residence of Chief Minister Kalikho Pul early in the morning.   Amid stepped up police investigation, police have been quizzing 10 youths who allegedly joined the mob where the main entrance gate was ransacked.   The bizarre incident took place the miscreants vandalized the main entrance gate while proceeding towards the Chief Minister's residence.

Arunachal Pradesh Governor JP Rajkhowa has expressed grave disappointment over Tuesday's incident at the Raj Bhawan where a section of cabinet ministers misbehaved with him.
