Tinsukia AGP leader Dr Om Prakash Sahu criticized BJP and Congress accusing them of polarizing votes in the name of caste, creeds and religion 6 months ahead of the polls.
Dr Sahu said that both the parties started shedding  tears for the sake of power. Dr Sahu appealed to all the people to remain alert from these elements.

Illicit liquors are flooding Margherita these days. Not a single area is left in the coal town where illicit liquors are unavailable. AJYCP raids wine shops

Assam Jatiyotabadi Yuva Chattra Parishad in Margherita raided a number of wine shops in the entire sub division on Sunday. They blamed it all on the excise department for allowing mushrooming of illegal wine shops in Margherita. Sakela Udhawli, the harvest festival of Khambus was celebrated at Pawai Bongoan, Ketetong near Margheritha in Tinsukia on Monday.
