AASAA ready for armed defence

AASAA threatens to take up arms for self defence if Delhi and Dispur fail to ensure their safety and security. Margherita AASAA unit president Ramanus Lakra told Assam Times that they have hardly any option for self defence. He accused both Central and State Governments of playing dirty politics by killing innocent people.

Before that led by All Adivashi Student Association of Assam(AASAA), hundreds of people came out of the homes in Margherita in protest against the attack. They thronged the local bus stand and burnt the effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Tarun Gogoi alleging failure to deal with the situation.
