Loksabha MP Ninong Ering carried out a whirlwind tour to lower Ramle Bango areas on Monday which have been ravaged by the recent flood.
At New Deka village, Ering attended a public meeting announced Rs 10 lakh for construction of Community Hall and Rs 6 lakh for two culverts. He also visited Nari, Telam and Name villages. At Name village he felt the place is being threatened by Depi river and gave sanction of fifteen lakhs for flood protection measures and immediate relief to the effected people.
In message at all places, MP Ering said that for a better future and to maintain the sanctity of nature it depends on us as to how we maintain the ecological balance and keep the earth safe for generations to come.

Trees getting uprooted and falling on electrical lines, resulting in hours of power outage is a common phenomenon during monsoon. Normal power supply remains heavily interrupted on the Pasighat-Pangin power line after a huge tree fell on a powerful a electric wire on Monday. Engineers along with departmental staffs have already been pressed into restoration process. It would take two days or more to reconnect the network.
