The Gauhati High Court is expected to decide on the fate of Boko MLA Gopinath Das on Monday when it will be hearing his anticipatory bail in connection with the rape case pending against him in Boko police station.
Das moved the High Court after the Chief Judicial magistrate turned down his petition for interim bail in this case.
Meanwhile, police have stepped up operations in search of the Boko MLA who has been remaining untraced since police booked him acting on his domestic help’s that he raped her.
