Foster growth: Tuki to NITI
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki urged the Centre to provide a special window of funding to foster overall growth and development in the state.
He called on NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Dr. Arvind Panagariya at New Delhi recently and submitted a proposal named – Priority Areas for Development in Arunachal Pradesh for consideration by NITI Aayog.
The proposal while giving a overview of the developmental journey of the state focuses primarily on projects related to Administrative Reforms, Connectivity, Marketing Infrastructure Linkages, Basic Minimum Services, Border Area Development along with a host of other important issues. He mentioned that the rationale of this proposal was to ensure the completion of several projects which were started under the Special Plan Assistance (SPA) window of the Planning Commission.

With a view to bridging the gap with the common people, the Arunachal Pradesh Raj Bhawan will remain open on every Sunday. According to information, the people, especially school children would have the opportunity to tour the compound. Police registered a criminal case under NDPS Act against the duo.

Acting on a set of complaints deputy commissioner Ravi Jha said that he would not remain silent if these ponzi schemes lure the investors promising returns in Tirap and Longding districts. The public health engineering & water supply department is bracing up for a grim financial crisis. An astronomical amount of money has yet to be realized from the central and state government offices in the division. The department has missed the revenue target because of the unrealized amount.The entire situation has forced the deputy commissioner to step in. Deputy Commissioner Tamiyo Tatak has asked all departments to clear the pending bills to avoid penalty charges.
